Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi started his address by paying a tribute to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Ji, he said, “Today is the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji. Pandit Ji devoted his whole life to Antyodaya, striving to improve lives of the poor.”

Calling out the fears and bigotry of the opposition, PM Modi said, “How much have they tried to divide you, to separate you in the name of caste, but these people failed. They don't even know the ground reality of UP. These ‘Parivarwaadis’ filled their house, their vault but never cared for the poor.” PM Modi further elucidated on how public schemes and money were used to do one scam after the other for personal gains and how Double Engine Sarkar has been working religiously for the welfare of people.

Talking about the success of Double Engine Sarkar in UP especially in villages, PM Modi said, “Our government has given good roads, new bridges to the villages of this area which were left destitute by these people. Our government has brought livestock farmers and fish farmers under the ambit of Kisan Credit Card.” PM Modi also made people aware that the Union Budget has made ample provisions for development to continue in UP.

PM Modi stressed the fact that security for daughters, women and shopkeepers is paramount to live a life free of stress and fear. The PM applauded the paradigm shift CM Yogi Adityanath has brought in UP with respect to security and safety.

Addressing the huge rally, PM Modi also talked about social welfare for the people of UP. He asserted, “Our government has provided life and accident insurance up to Rs 4 lakh to crores of poor people of the country. After attaining the age of 60, the poor will also get the support of pension.” “For the first time in the country, street vendors, hawkers have also been connected with the banking system, they have been helped through the PM SVANIDHI scheme.,” he added.

“‘Parivarwaad’ is the biggest enemy of the bright future of our youth. That's why UP's growth was limited, growth slowed,” he said. PM Modi added that Double Engine Sarkar’s effort must continue for UP to develop holistically.

PM Modi interacted with BJP karyakartas from across West Bengal under the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ initiative, extending his best wishes for the Bengali New Year to all citizens of the state.

During the interaction, the PM reflected on his recent visits across various parts of West Bengal, highlighting the remarkable enthusiasm, energy and growing support for the BJP among the people. He credited this momentum to the tireless efforts and dedication of booth-level karyakartas.

The PM appreciated the positive response to the BJP’s Sankalp Patra (manifesto), stating that citizens across the state have described it as practical, implementable, and focused on holistic development and welfare.

Women karyakartas spoke about concerns over security and dignity, while youth-related issues such as migration due to lack of opportunities were also raised.

PM Modi acknowledged these concerns and emphasised the need for continuous engagement with citizens at the grassroots level. He urged karyakartas to strengthen booth-level organisation through regular outreach and small group meetings, actively connect with women, youth, farmers and first-time voters , clearly communicate the benefits and vision outlined by the BJP, ensure transparency, development and safety, use social media and digital tools effectively to amplify facts and counter misinformation.
He also stressed the importance of documenting and communicating local issues, ensuring that the voices of the people are consistently heard and represented.

The PM constantly reiterated that booth-level strength is the foundation of electoral success, stating that “Booth jeeta, toh chunav jeeta.” He expressed confidence that the growing trust of the people in BJP presents a significant opportunity to bring transformation in West Bengal.

Concluding the interaction, PM Modi said that the scale of victory in West Bengal will directly translate into relief and better governance for its people. He encouraged all karyakartas to work with renewed energy, expand outreach, and ensure that every household becomes a partner in this journey of development.
