অধিৱেশন আৰম্ভ হোৱাৰ পূৰ্বে সংবাদ বিবৃতিত প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীয়ে কয়, ‘লোকসভা নিৰ্বাচনৰ পাছত আজি প্ৰথমটো অধিৱেশন আৰম্ভ হ’ব৷ মই সকলো নতুন সাংসদক আদৰণি জনাইছো৷ তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে এই সংসদলৈ আহিছে নতুন আশা, নতুন আকাংক্ষা আৰু নতুন সংকল্প৷’.
প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীয়ে সপ্তদশ লোকসভাত মহিলা সাংসদৰ সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পোৱাত সন্তুষ্টি ব্যক্ত কৰে৷ তেওঁ কয় যে সংসদৰ কাম-কাজ নিয়াৰিকৈ পৰিচালিত হ’লে ইয়ে জনসাধাৰণৰ আশা-আকাংক্ষা পূৰণ কৰিবলৈ সক্ষম হ’ব৷
সংসদীয় গণতন্ত্ৰত বিৰোধীৰ আৱশ্যকতাৰ প্ৰসংগও প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীয়ে উত্থাপন কৰে৷ তেওঁ আশা প্ৰকাশ কৰে যে বিৰোধীয়ে সংসদৰ অধিৱেশন চলি থকা সময়ত সক্ৰিয় ভূমিকা গ্ৰহণ কৰিব৷ লোকসভাত তেওঁলোকৰ সংখ্যাক লৈ বিৰোধী উদ্বিগ্ন হ’ব নালাগে বুলিও প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীয়ে কয়৷
