GOG bags two international awards for Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Gujarat gets global reorganization for pioneering Vibrant Gujarat campaign

Gujarat government h as bagged two international awards for Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit-2011 (VGGIS-11) as a best communication programme. Officials of APCO Worldwide, official relationship p artner of VGGIS-11, showcased these awards to the Chief Minister Narendra Modi today in Gandhinagar.

The first award ‘Best Communications Campaign in the Indian Sub-Continent’ was conferred at an international conference held in Lisbon of Portugal while the second award ‘Best government/Public Sector Communications Campaign in Asia-Pacific’ was given in Singapore. These awards, famous as SABRE awards, have been organized by The Holmes Report and viewed as the most prestigious in the communication sector. APCO Worldwide is the joint recipient of the awards.

Founder and CEO of APCO Worldwide Mr. Margery Kraus s aid that Gujarat bagged the award against the entries from the United States, Spain, Hong Kong and Portugal. “We sincerely believe these awards are a testament to the le adership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and the environment which he h as successfully built in the state along with his first-class team of officials”, said Mr. Kraus.

Mr. Modi s aid that VGGIS h as moved in to an au topilot mode now. Gujarat has created a new identity by adopting various novel initiatives and approaches. “These awards are a tribute to the enterprising spirit of Gujarat and our state’s determination to play a leading role in India’s inclusive growth”, he said.
