While addressing the National Youth Festival at Rohtak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled the values of Swami Vivekananda. Shri Modi said that Vivekananda wanted to create an atmosphere of brotherhood amongst the youth. He said that youth can be agents of change in the fight against black money and corruption.

Shri Modi said that ours is a youthful nation and imbibing the ideals of Vivekananda, India’s youth has the potential to make the country ‘Vishwaguru’.

Shri Modi said that youth can play a leading role in moving towards a less-cash society and inculcating habits of transacting digitally among the elders. He said, “Today, youth plays a significant role when taking the country towards increased digital economy.”

“Corruption has had adverse impact on our country and it is now time to rid India from the grasps of such evils. Youth can give a major boost to our fight against corruption and black money. I urge the youth to inculcate the habit of doing cashless transactions in at least ten families and promote a less-cash society”, said the Prime Minister.
