وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے آج اٹلی کے وزیر اعظم ہز ایکسی لینسی جناب ماریو دراگی سے ٹیلی فون پر بات کی۔

دونوں لیڈران نے افغانستان کے حالیہ واقعات اور اس خطہ اور دنیا کے لیے اس کے اثرات پر گفتگو کی۔

دونوں لیڈران نے کابل بین الاقوامی ہوائی اڈہ پر کل ہوئے خطرناک دہشت گردانہ حملے کی سخت الفاظ میں مذمت کی اور وہاں پھنسے ہوئے لوگوں کی بحفاظت ملک واپسی کو یقینی بنانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔

انہوں نے افغانستان کے واقعات سے پیدا انسانی بحران اور طویل مدتی سیکورٹی کے تشویشوں کو دور کرنے کے لیے جی20 کی سطح سمیت بین الاقوامی تعاون کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔

دونوں لیڈران نے ماحولیاتی تبدیلی جیسے جی20 کے دیگر اہم موضوعات پر بھی گفتگو کی۔ اس سلسلے میں انہوں نے سی او پی-26 جیسے دیگر آئندہ منعقد ہونے والے کثیر رخی پروگراموں پر بھی خیالات کا تبادلہ کیا۔

وزیر اعظم نے جی20 کے اندر مثبت طور پر صلاح و مشورہ کرنے میں اٹلی کی سرگرم قیادت کی تعریف کی۔

دونوں لیڈران نے دو طرفہ اور عالمی امور، خاص طور سے افغانستان کی صورتحال پر ایک دوسرے کے رابطہ میں رہنے پر اتفاق کیا۔
