Former Indian cricketer Shri Sachin Tendulkar called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today. He was accompanied by his wife, Smt. Anjali Tendulkar.
Shri Sachin Tendulkar apprised the Prime Minister of his contribution towards the Swachh Bharat initiative, in response to the Prime Minister`s invitation to him on October 2nd. He also informed the Prime Minister that he had extended the chain by inviting others to participate.
Shri Tendulkar said he looked forward to adopting a village under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. He also expressed keenness to work towards development of sports in schools and colleges.
