PM greets people on the beginning of holy month of Ramzan

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has greeted the people on the beginning of holy month of Ramzan.

“Ramzan Mubarak! I pray for everyone’s safety, well-being and prosperity. May this Holy Month bring with it abundance of kindness, harmony and compassion. May we achieve a decisive victory in the ongoing battle against COVID-19 and create a healthier planet”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Highlights Sanskrit Wisdom in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today underscored the enduring relevance of Sanskrit in India’s cultural and spiritual life, noting its daily presence in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam program.

The Prime Minister observed that each morning, the program features a Sanskrit subhāṣita (wise saying), seamlessly weaving together values and culture.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:

“दूरदर्शनस्य सुप्रभातम् कार्यक्रमे प्रतिदिनं संस्कृतस्य एकं सुभाषितम् अपि भवति। एतस्मिन् संस्कारतः संस्कृतिपर्यन्तम् अन्यान्य-विषयाणां समावेशः क्रियते। एतद् अस्ति अद्यतनं सुभाषितम्....”
