وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی آج گیر، گجرات میں ایک سفاری پر گئے، جو عظیم الشان ایشیائی شیر کے گھر کے طور پر جانا جاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے ان اجتماعی کوششوں کو سراہا جنہوں نے گزشتہ کئی سالوں میں ایشیائی شیروں کی آبادی میں مسلسل اضافہ کو یقینی بنایا ہے۔ ایکس پر ایک پوسٹ میں، انہوں نے لکھا:۔

 

‘‘آج صبح، #جنگلاتی حیات کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر، میں گیِر میں ایک سفاری پر گیا، جیسا کہ ہم سب جانتے ہیں، گیِر ایشیائی ببرشیروں کے گھر کے طورپر جاناتا جاتا ہے۔ گیِر آنا اس کام کی بہت سی یادیں بھی تازہ کرتا ہے جو ہم نے اجتماعی طور پر کیا تھا جب میں گجرات کے وزیر اعلیٰ کی حیثیت سے خدمات انجام دے رہا تھا۔ پچھلے کئی سالوں میں، اجتماعی کوششوں نے اس بات کو یقینی بنایا ہے کہ ایشیائی ببرشیروں کی آبادی میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ ایشیائی ببرشیر کے مسکن کے تحفظ میں قبائلی برادریوں اور آس پاس کے علاقوں کی خواتین کا کردار بھی اتنا ہی قابل تعریف ہے۔’’

Both leaders reiterated the importance of keeping shipping lines open and secure in the interest of the whole world.

The two leaders reviewed progress on various initiatives aimed at strengthening India-Sri Lanka energy cooperation and enhancing regional security.

Prime Minister reiterated India’s firm commitment to work closely together in addressing shared challenges in line with India’s Neighbourhood First policy and MAHASAGAR Vision.

The two leaders agreed to stay in touch.
