PM Modi arrives in Malé, Maldives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Maldives a short while ago. He was personally received by President Mohamed Muizzu at the airport. The PM will take part in the 60th Independence Day celebrations of Maldives as the Guest of Honour.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that humanity may live in harmony with the Earth, as earth is the nurturing mother of all life and the moral order that sustains her should be respected.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्।

शिवां स्योनामनु चरेम विश्वहा॥

The Prime Minister posted on X:

विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्।
