Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Both the sides deliberated on wide-ranging topics of mutual interest and global perspective and agreed to further strengthen ties between India and Germany.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, observing that firm resolve and self-control are the powers that make even the most difficult paths easy. Shri Modi highlighted that today, our youth are continuously engaged in nation-building with this very resolve.
The Prime Minister posted on X:
"दृढ़ निश्चय और आत्म-संयम वह शक्ति है, जो कठिन से कठिन राह को भी आसान बना देती है। आज हमारे युवा साथी इसी संकल्प के साथ राष्ट्र निर्माण में निरंतर जुटे हुए हैं।
निश्चित्य यः प्रक्रमते
नान्तर्वसति कर्मणः।
अबन्ध्यकालो वश्यात्मा
स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥"
A person who begins a task after careful deliberation and with firm resolve, who never leaves it unfinished, who uses time wisely and who maintains complete control over their senses, such a person alone is truly wise.
