PM Modi to hold talks with Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
PM Modi’s Vietnam visit aims to strengthen ties between both the countries.

PM Narendra Modi arrived at Hanoi, Vietnam for the bilateral visit. PM Modi was warmly welcomed by a few members of the Indian community.

During the visit, PM Modi would hold talks with Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The PM would also meet several other Vietnamese leaders.

Shri Modi would pay homage to Ho Chi Minh, lay a wreath at the Monument of National Heroes and Martyrs as well as visit the Quan Su Pagoda. The visit is aimed at strengthening ties between both the countries.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi lauded the passing of amendments proposed to Oilfields (Regulation and Development) Act 1948 in Rajya Sabha today. He remarked that it was an important legislation which will boost energy security and also contribute to a prosperous India.
