PM invites views and experiences on dealing with the menace of drugs

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has invited views and experiences on dealing with the menace of drugs.

"During `Mann Ki Baat` programme, I talked about many friends writing to me on menace of drugs. I said I will take it up in next programme. I invite you to share your views on the issue of mitigating the menace of drugs. If you worked in this area, please share your experiences. I call upon NGOs that are working on this to share their experiences as well. It will be wonderful to know about the work being done. Prime Minister Welcomes Release of Commemorative Stamp Honouring Emperor Perumbidugu Mutharaiyar II

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi expressed delight at the release of a commemorative postal stamp in honour of Emperor Perumbidugu Mutharaiyar II (Suvaran Maran) by the Vice President of India, Thiru C.P. Radhakrishnan today.

Shri Modi noted that Emperor Perumbidugu Mutharaiyar II was a formidable administrator endowed with remarkable vision, foresight and strategic brilliance. He highlighted the Emperor’s unwavering commitment to justice and his distinguished role as a great patron of Tamil culture.

The Prime Minister called upon the nation—especially the youth—to learn more about the extraordinary life and legacy of the revered Emperor, whose contributions continue to inspire generations.
