"Narendra modi pays floral tribute to Pundit Shyamji krushnavarma"

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: On the 67th independence day Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Narendra modi inaugurated exhibition on the life of Swami Vivekananda at Kutch University. Mr.Modi also paid floral tribute to Krantiguru Pundit Shyamji krushnaverma.

In this exhibition various topic like Swamiji’s birth, study, divine meeting of guru-shishya, swamiji’s tour within India, his vision of undivided India has been covered in form of beautiful pictures. Mr. Modi took round of the whole exhibition with great interest.

Chicago’s religious conference, speeches of Swamiji in America, England, Maha Samadhi of Swamiji on 4th July 1920 and various passages of Vivekananda’s life have also been covered by The Youth Service and Cultural Activities department.

It also covered Swamiji’s visits of Gujarat. Between November 1891 to April 1892, Swamiji visited Gujarat’s more than 13 towns like Ahmadabad, Wadhvan, Limbdi, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Veraval, Somnath, Porbandar, Dwarka, Mandvi, Palitana, Nadiad and Vadodara.

The exhibition was also visited by State Water Supply Minister Mr. Parbat Patel, MP Punamben Jat, Secretary to Department of Youth Service and Cultural Activity Mr. Bhagyesh jha and Commissioner Mr. Rajesh Manju and other officials.

PM Modi hails the commencement of 20th Session of UNESCO’s Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage in India

The Prime Minister has expressed immense joy on the commencement of the 20th Session of the Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in India. He said that the forum has brought together delegates from over 150 nations with a shared vision to protect and popularise living traditions across the world.

The Prime Minister stated that India is glad to host this important gathering, especially at the historic Red Fort. He added that the occasion reflects India’s commitment to harnessing the power of culture to connect societies and generations.
