Hon'ble CM for effective implementation of ‘Taluka Government’

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi has asserted for effective implementation of the Taluka Government’s concept, for that he asked the officials to redress the taluka level issues with devotion and promptness, which is quite possible through Taluka level SWAGAT on-line programme. He highlighted the success of Garib Kalyan Mela, a well laid proactive mission to reach upto all the villages across the State helping the beneficiary. Ultimate goal of SWAGAT is prompt redressal of the issues which are related to people at large.

As part of monthly SWAGAT on-line programme, CM on Thursday passionately listened to the citizens. He passed on necessary instructions to the officials for the speedy disposals of complains with zeal and positive attitude. It merits mention that as many as 1532 issues were resolved during the on-line programme. It has remained a tradition of SWAGAT that the complainant expresses his satisfaction about the methods and pro-activeness with which their representation is dealt with.

It also reflects the success of good-governance practices that people have posed their trust and confidence in the present government, and they are fully cooperating in the land -acquisition process which is being undertaken to implement the development projects. Farmers and citizens noted it with satisfaction that works of public-amenities are being taken up with due priority and speed. Taluka level SWAGAT programme has expanded its outreach, generating confidence and hope among the people. Secretary Shri A.K.Sharma was also present.

1) Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

- Strengthen and further develop closer economic and commercial integration.

- Increase trade between the two countries by reducing trade barriers and creating a stable framework.

2) MoU in the field of Maritime Heritage and Museums

- Cooperation in advancements in agricultural science and technology, enhancement of horticulture, integrated farming systems, and micro-irrigation.

4) MoU in the field of Higher Education

- Facilitate exchange of faculty, researchers and scholars, while undertaking joint research, particularly applied research, in areas of mutual interest for generating new knowledge and innovative practices required for advancing human and socio-economic development goals.

5) Executive Programme for cooperation in millet cultivation and agri - food innovation

- Establish framework cooperation in India’s scientific expertise and Oman’s favorable agro-climatic conditions to advance millet production, research, and promotion.

6) Adoption of Joint Vision Document on Maritime Cooperation

- Strengthen cooperation in the field of regional maritime security, blue economy, and sustainable use of ocean resources.
