India celebrates 79th Independence Day

He reiterated that India will always protect the interests of its farmers, livestock keepers and fishermen. He highlighted key initiatives—GST reforms, Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, National Sports Policy, and Sudharshan Chakra Mission—aimed at achieving a Viksit Bharat by 2047. Special guests like Panchayat members and “Drone Didis” graced the Red Fort celebrations.
