In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Congratulations to His Excellency Ebrahim Raisi on his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. I look forward to working with him to further strengthen the warm ties between India and Iran."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that humanity may live in harmony with the Earth, as earth is the nurturing mother of all life and the moral order that sustains her should be respected.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्।

शिवां स्योनामनु चरेम विश्वहा॥

The Prime Minister posted on X:
