After the announcement of the results of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a programme at BJP HQ in New Delhi. Thanking the people of India, PM Modi said, “The results of the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 has enabled NDA emerge victorious for the 3rd time. He said that this is the victory of the idea of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and to safeguard India’s Constitution. He said, “NDA’s victory for the 3rd time represents the victory of 140 crore Indians.”

Commending the efforts of the Election Commission of India, PM Modi said, “I would like to thank the Election Commission of India for carrying out the world’s largest elections.” He added that India’s electoral process has reached new heights of credibility and efficiency. He made a special mention about the people of J&K and their record turnout for voting in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

Speaking on the importance of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, PM Modi said, “It’s for the first time post 1962 that an incumbent government has emerged victorious for the 3rd time.” He added that this election has been special for the BJP as it has received a record mandate by the people of AP, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha. He said that the vote share of BJP has almost doubled in Telangana with us also winning a Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. He said, “I assure the states of Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and AP of their robust development.”

Expressing his emotions on the result of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, PM Modi said, “These elections have been special with the unprecedented support the NDA has received owing to the Mothers-Sisters-Daughters of India.” He added that the last 10 years have been dedicated to bold decisions and has been focused to provide last-mile reach of developmental benefits to all. He said, “All the decisions in the last decade have been committed to ‘Nation First’ & an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.”

Highlighting the importance of the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’, PM Modi said, “A 3rd term for the NDA means the strengthening of our resolve for a ‘Viksit Bharat’.” Appreciating the efforts of the Karyakartas, PM Modi said, “With the efforts of the Karyakartas, BJP has won more seats than the opposition combined.” He said that if you work for 10 hours then Modi will work for 18 hours. He added, “NDA’s 3rd term will see a new ‘Golden Chapter’ in India’s development and this is Modi’s guarantee.

Emphasizing how NDA has prioritized the empowerment of the deprived, PM Modi said, “Uplifting 25 crore Indians from poverty is our commitment to foster the empowerment of the deprived.” “Holistic development of all including the SC-ST-OBCs while also facilitating women-led development is our mantra,” PM Modi said. He added that we have facilitated the robust rise of India’s mobile manufacturing, defence exports and the development of India’s Semiconductor industry.

Talking about the next era, PM Modi said, “India’s next era will be a ‘Green era’ enabling Green Industrialization.’” He added that India will emerge as the 3rd largest economy and will also excel in the domain of space exploration like it did during the Chhandrayaan-3 mission. He added that India will be responsible for the stability and diversity of the global supply chain. He said, “India will emerge as the pillar of strength for the world.”

On the menace of corruption, PM Modi said, “Our fight against corruption must continue and digital India and technology are critical for this.” He added that dealing with the menace of corruption is a complex task owing to increasing political greed and we must together weed out corruption from India. “The attribute of service distinguishes NDA from others and we will continue to honour the collective aspirations of the people of India,” said PM Modi.

In conclusion, PM Modi said, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been the guiding light for us and his 350th Birth Anniversary will earmark the same.” He added that this year we will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. He said that the continuous guidance will enable the NDA to deliver upon its promises. Thanking 140 crore Indians once again, PM Modi said, “It is a historic mandate that people have given after six decades by bestowing a 3rd term for the the NDA.”

साथियो,

सर्वप्रथम मैं आपसे क्षमाप्रार्थी हूं कि मौसम खराब होने की वजह से मैं वहां आपके बीच उपस्थित नहीं हो सका। कोहरे की वजह से वहां हेलीकॉप्टर उतरने की स्थिति नहीं थी इसलिए मैं आपको टेलीफोन के माध्यम से संबोधित कर रहा हूं। मुझे ये भी जानकारी मिली है कि रैली स्थल पर पहुंचते समय खराब मौसम की वजह से भाजपा परिवार के कुछ कार्यकर्ता, रेल हादसे का शिकार हो गए हैं। जिन बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं की दुखद मृत्यु हुई है, उनके परिवारों के प्रति मेरी संवेदनाएं हैं। जो लोग इस हादसे में घायल हुए हैं, मैं उनके जल्द स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूं। दुख की इस घड़ी में हम सभी पीड़ित परिवार के साथ हैं।

साथियों,

मैं पश्चिम बंगाल बीजेपी से आग्रह करूंगा कि पीड़ित परिवारों की हर तरह से मदद की जाए। दुख की इस घड़ी में हम सभी पीड़ित परिवारों के साथ हैं। साथियों, हमारी सरकार का निरंतर प्रयास है कि पश्चिम बंगाल के उन हिंस्सों को भी आधुनिक कनेक्टिविटी मिले जो लंबे समय तक वंचित रहे हैं। बराजगुड़ी से कृष्णानगर तक फोर लेन बनने से नॉर्थ चौबीस परगना, नदिया, कृष्णानगर और अन्य क्षेत्र के लोगों को बहुत लाभ होगा। इससे कोलकाता से सिलीगुडी की यात्रा का समय करीब दो घंटे तक कम हो गया है आज बारासात से बराजगुड़ी तक भी फोर लेन सड़क पर भी काम शुरू हुआ है इन दोनों ही प्रोजेक्ट से इस पूरे क्षेत्र में आर्थिक गतिविधियों और पर्यटन का विस्तार होगा।

साथियों,

नादिया वो भूमि है जहाँ प्रेम, करुणा और भक्ति का जीवंत स्वरूप...श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु प्रकट हुए। नदिया के गाँव-गाँव में... गंगा के तट-तट पर...जब हरिनाम संकीर्तन की गूंज उठती थी तो वह केवल भक्ति नहीं होती थी...वह सामाजिक एकता का आह्वान होती थी। होरिनाम दिये जोगोत माताले...आमार एकला निताई!! यह भावना...आज भी यहां की मिट्टी में, यहां के हवा-पानी में... और यहाँ के जन-मन में जीवित है।

साथियों,

समाज कल्याण के इस भाव को...हमारे मतुआ समाज ने भी हमेशा आगे बढ़ाया है। श्री हरीचांद ठाकुर ने हमें 'कर्म' का मर्म सिखाया...श्री गुरुचांद ठाकुर ने 'कलम' थमाई...और बॉरो माँ ने अपना मातृत्व बरसाया...इन सभी महान संतानों को भी मैं नमन करता हूं।

साथियों,

बंगाल ने, बांग्ला भाषा ने...भारत के इतिहास, भारत की संस्कृति को निरंतर समृद्ध किया है। वंदे मातरम्...ऐसा ही एक श्रेष्ठ योगदान है। वंदे मातरम् का 150 वर्ष पूरे होने का उत्सव पूरा देश मना रहा है हाल में ही, भारत की संसद ने वंदे मातरम् का गौरवगान किया। पश्चिम बंगाल की ये धरती...वंदे मातरम् के अमरगान की भूमि है। इस धरती ने बंकिम बाबू जैसा महान ऋषि देश को दिया... ऋषि बंकिम बाबू ने गुलाम भारत में वंदे मातरम् के ज़रिए, नई चेतना पैदा की। साथियों, वंदे मातरम्…19वीं सदी में गुलामी से मुक्ति का मंत्र बना...21वीं सदी में वंदे मातरम् को हमें राष्ट्र निर्माण का मंत्र बनाना है। अब वंदे मातरम् को हमें विकसित भारत की प्रेरणा बनाना है...इस गीत से हमें विकसित पश्चिम बंगाल की चेतना जगानी है। साथियों, वंदे मातरम् की पावन भावना ही...पश्चिम बंगाल के लिए बीजेपी का रोडमैप है।

साथियों,

विकसित भारत के इस लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति में केंद्र सरकार हर देशवासी के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर चल रही है। भाजपा सरकार ऐसी नीतियां बना रही है, ऐसे निर्णय ले रही है जिससे हर देशवासी का सामर्थ्य बढ़े आप सब भाई-बहनों का सामर्थ्य बढ़े। मैं आपको एक उदाहरण देता हूं। कुछ समय पहले...हमने GST बचत उत्सव मनाया। देशवासियों को कम से कम कीमत में ज़रूरी सामान मिले...भाजपा सरकार ने ये सुनिश्चित किया। इससे दुर्गापूजा के दौरान... अन्य त्योहारों के दौरान…पश्चिम बंगाल के लोगों ने खूब खरीदारी की।

साथियों,

हमारी सरकार यहां आधुनिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर पर भी काफी निवेश कर रही है। और जैसा मैंने पहले बताया पश्चिम बंगाल को दो बड़े हाईवे प्रोजेक्ट्स मिले हैं। जिससे इस क्षेत्र की कोलकाता और सिलीगुड़ी से कनेक्टिविटी और बेहतर होने वाली है। साथियों, आज देश...तेज़ विकास चाहता है...आपने देखा है... पिछले महीने ही...बिहार ने विकास के लिए फिर से एनडीए सरकार को प्रचंड जनादेश दिया है। बिहार में भाजपा-NDA की प्रचंड विजय के बाद... मैंने एक बात कही थी...मैंने कहा था... गंगा जी बिहार से बहते हुए ही बंगाल तक पहुंचती है। तो बिहार ने बंगाल में भाजपा की विजय का रास्ता भी बना दिया है। बिहार ने जंगलराज को एक सुर से एक स्वर से नकार दिया है... 20 साल बाद भी भाजपा-NDA को पहले से भी अधिक सीटें दी हैं... अब पश्चिम बंगाल में जो महा-जंगलराज चल रहा है...उससे हमें मुक्ति पानी है। और इसलिए... पश्चिम बंगाल कह रहा है... पश्चिम बंगाल का बच्चा-बच्चा कह रहा है, पश्चिम बंगाल का हर गांव, हर शहर, हर गली, हर मोहल्ला कह रहा है... बाचते चाई….बीजेपी ताई! बाचते चाई बीजेपी ताई

साथियो,

मोदी आपके लिए बहुत कुछ करना चाहता है...पश्चिम बंगाल के विकास के लिए न पैसे की कमी है, न इरादों की और न ही योजनाओं की...लेकिन यहां ऐसी सरकार है जो सिर्फ कट और कमीशन में लगी रहती है। आज भी पश्चिम बंगाल में विकास से जुड़े...हज़ारों करोड़ रुपए के प्रोजेक्ट्स अटके हुए हैं। मैं आज बंगाल की महान जनता जनार्दन के सामने अपनी पीड़ा रखना चाहता हूं, और मैं हृदय की गहराई से कहना चाहता हूं। आप सबकों ध्यान में रखते हुए कहना चाहता हूं और मैं साफ-साफ कहना चाहता हूं। टीएमसी को मोदी का विरोध करना है करे सौ बार करे हजार बार करे। टीएमसी को बीजेपी का विरोध करना है जमकर करे बार-बार करे पूरी ताकत से करे लेकिन बंगाल के मेरे भाइयों बहनों मैं ये नहीं समझ पा रहा हूं कि पश्चिम बंगाल के विकास को क्यों रोका जा रहा है? और इसलिए मैं बार-बार कहता हूं कि मोदी का विरोध भले करे लेकिन बंगाल की जनता को दुखी ना करे, उनको उनके अधिकारों से वंचित ना करे उनके सपनों को चूर-चूर करने का पाप ना करे। और इसलिए मैं पश्चिम बंगाल की प्रभुत्व जनता से हाथ जोड़कर आग्रह कर रहा हूं, आप बीजेपी को मौका देकर देखिए, एक बार यहां बीजेपी की डबल इंजन सरकार बनाकर देखिए। देखिए, हम कितनी तेजी से बंगाल का विकास करते हैं।

साथियों,

बीजेपी के ईमानदार प्रयास के बीच आपको टीएमसी की साजिशों से भी उसके कारनामों से भी सावधान रहना होगा टीएमसी घुसपैठियों को बचाने के लिए पूरा जोर लगा रही है बीजेपी जब घुसपैठियों का सवाल उठाती है तो टीएमसी के नेता हमें गालियां देते हैं। मैंने अभी सोशल मीडिया में देखा कुछ जगह पर कुछ लोगों ने बोर्ड लगाया है गो-बैक मोदी अच्छा होता बंगाल की हर गली में हर खंबे पर ये लिखा जाता कि गो-बैक घुसपैठिए... गो-बैक घुसपैठिए, लेकिन दुर्भाग्य देखिए गो-बैक मोदी के लिए बंगाल की जनता के विरोधी नारे लगा रहे हैं लेकिन गो-बैक घुसपैठियों के लिए वे चुप हो जाते हैं। जिन घुसपैठियों ने बंगाल पर कब्जा करने की ठान रखी है...वो TMC को सबसे ज्यादा प्यारे लगते हैं। यही TMC का असली चेहरा है। TMC घुसपैठियों को बचाने के लिए ही… बंगाल में SIR का भी विरोध कर रही है।

साथियों,

हमारे बगल में त्रिपुरा को देखिए कम्युनिस्टों ने लाल झंडे वालों ने लेफ्टिस्टों ने तीस साल तक त्रिपुरा को बर्बाद कर दिया था, त्रिपुरा की जनता ने हमें मौका दिया हमने त्रिपुरा की जनता के सपनों के अनुरूप त्रिपुरा को आगे बढ़ाने का प्रयास किया बंगाल में भी लाल झंडेवालों से मुक्ति मिली। आशा थी कि लेफ्टवालों के जाने के बाद कुछ अच्छा होगा लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से टीएमसी ने लेफ्ट वालों की जितनी बुराइयां थीं उन सारी बुराइयों को और उन सारे लोगों को भी अपने में समा लिया और इसलिए अनेक गुणा बुराइयां बढ़ गई और इसी का परिणाम है कि त्रिपुरा तेज गते से बढ़ रहा है और बंगाल टीएमसी के कारण तेज गति से तबाह हो रहा है।

साथियो,

बंगाल को बीजेपी की एक ऐसी सरकार चाहिए जो डबल इंजन की गति से बंगाल के गौरव को फिर से लौटाने के लिए काम करे। मैं आपसे बीजेपी के विजन के बारे में विस्तार से बात करूंगा जब मैं वहां खुद आऊंगा, जब आपका दर्शन करूंगा, आपके उत्साह और उमंग को नमन करूंगा। लेकिन आज मौसम ने कुछ कठिनाइंया पैदा की है। और मैं उन नेताओं में से नहीं हूं कि मौसम की मूसीबत को भी मैं राजनीति के रंग से रंग दूं। पहले बहुत बार हुआ है।

मैं जानता हूं कि कभी-कभी मौसम परेशान करता है लेकिन मैं जल्द ही आपके बीच आऊंगा, बार-बार आऊंगा, आपके उत्साह और उमंग को नमन करूंगा। मैं आपके लिए आपके सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए, बंगाल के उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए पूरी शक्ति के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर के आपके साथ काम करूंगा। आप सभी को मेरा बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।
