ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ బోలాద్ లో సౌరాష్ట్ర నర్మద అవతరణ్ సించాయీ (ఎస్ఎయుఎన్ఐ.. సౌనీ) యోజన ఒకటవ దశ (లింక్ 2) ను ఈ రోజు దేశ ప్రజలకు అంకితం చేశారు. ఆయన ఎస్ఎయుఎన్ఐ యోజనలో భాగమైన రెండవ దశకు పునాదిరాయిని కూడా వేశారు .

అంత క్రితం, ఒక మీటను నొక్కి నర్మద నీటిని కృష్ణ సాగర్ జలాశయంలోకి విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రధాన మంత్రి పుష్పదళాలను నదీజలాలకు స్వాగత సూచకంగా సమర్పించారు.

ఒక బహిరంగ సభను ఉద్దేశించి ప్రధాన మంత్రి ప్రసంగిస్తూ, జలం ప్రకృతి మనకు అందించే పవిత్రమైన ప్రసాదమంటూ అభివర్ణించారు. నర్మద నది దీవెనలతో జలాలు సౌరాష్ట్ర కు చేరుకుంటున్నాయని ఆయన అన్నారు. ఇది బృహత్ ప్రయత్న ఫలితం, రైతులకు దీని ద్వారా ప్రయోజనం అందుతుందని ఆయన చెప్పారు.

నదీజలాల సంరక్షణకు, నర్మద సంరక్షణకు పాటుపడిన మధ్య ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ శివ్ రాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్ కృషిని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అభినందించారు.

బిందు సేద్యాన్ని విస్తృతంగా వినియోగంలోకి తీసుకురావలసిందిగా ప్రధాన మంత్రి పిలుపునిచ్చారు. వ్యవసాయ రంగంలో ఆదాయాలు రెట్టింపు కావడంలో దోహదపడే చర్యలపై కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కసరత్తు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
