ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ గుజరాత్ దక్షిణ ప్రాంతంలోని బాజీపుర లో ఎస్ యుఎమ్ యుఎల్ (సుమూల్) పశు దాణా కర్మాగారాన్నిఈ రోజు ప్రారంభించారు. ఆయన మూడు ఎత్తిపోతల పథకాలకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. అలాగే వ్యారా పట్టణానికీ, తాపీ జిల్లా లోని జేసింహ్ పుర్- దోల్ వాన్ గ్రూపులకు తాగునీటి సరఫరా పథకాన్ని కూడా ఆయన ప్రారంభించారు.
ఒక భారీ సభను ఉద్దేశించి ప్రధాన మంత్రి ప్రసంగించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన చాలా కాలం క్రితం ఈ ప్రాంతంలో పనిచేసిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. సూరత్ జిల్లా సహకార పాల ఉత్పత్తిదారుల యూనియన్ లిమిటెడ్ (సుమూల్) సమీప ప్రాంతాలలో అనేక మందికి సాధికారితను కల్పించినట్లు ఆయన వివరించారు. ఉమ్బర్ గావ్ నుండి అంబాజీ వరకు వ్యాపించిన ప్రాంతం మార్పు చెందిందని, ఇది గుజరాత్ లోని ఆదివాసీ వర్గాలకు మేలు చేసిందని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు. ఇక్కడ సుమూల్ లో సహకార సంఘాలు (కోఆపరేటివ్స్), సర్కార్ (ప్రభుత్వం) కలసి పని చేస్తే సమకూరే సకారాత్మక ఫలితాలను మనం గమనించవచ్చని ప్రధాన మంత్రి చెప్పారు. రైతులు, పాడి కేంద్రాలు సన్నిహితంగా కృషి చేస్తే జరిగే మంచి ఏమిటో సుమూల్ తేటతెల్లం చేస్తుందని కూడా ఆయన అన్నారు.
తాపీ జిల్లా గుజరాత్ లోని కొత్త జిల్లాలలో ఒకటని, ఈ జిల్లా విశేషమైన పురోగతిని సాధిస్తున్నందుకు తాను చాలా సంతోషిస్తున్నానని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు.
వ్యవసాయ రంగంలో అదనపు విలువను జోడించడంపై, తలసరి పాల ఉత్పత్తి ని పెంచడంపై శ్రద్ధ తీసుకోవలసిందంటూ ప్రధాన మంత్రి పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
