ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రప్రథమ ఫిలిప్ కోట్ లర్ ప్రెసిడెంశియల్ అవార్డు ను న్యూ ఢిల్లీ లోని నంబర్ 7, లోక్ కళ్యాణ్ మార్గ్ లో నేడు అందుకొన్నారు. ఈ పురస్కారం మూడు ఆధార రేఖల.. పీపుల్, ప్రాఫిట్ మరియు ప్లానెట్..పై కేంద్రితమైంది.
ప్రశస్తి పత్రం లో ఇలా పేర్కొన్నారు..:
‘‘దేశ ప్రజల కు ఉత్కృష్ట నాయకత్వాన్ని ఇచ్చినందుకు శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ని ఎంపిక చేయడమైంది. భారతదేశం పట్ల ఆయన యొక్క నిస్వార్థ సేవ కు తోడు ఆయన అలుపెరుగనటువంటి శక్తి ఫలితం గా దేశం అసాధారణమైన ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక మరియు సాంకేతిక విజ్ఞాన పరం గా పురోగతి సాధ్యపడింది.

ప్రొఫెసర్ ఫిలిప్ కోట్ లర్ నార్త్ వెస్టర్న్ యూనివర్సిటీ కి చెందిన కెలాగ్ స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ మేనేజ్ మెంట్ లో మార్కెటింగ్ విభాగ ఆచార్యుని గా ప్రపంచ ప్రఖ్యాతి ని గడించారు. ఆయన అనారోగ్యం బారి న పడిన కారణం గా అవార్డు ప్రదానం కోసం యుఎస్ఎ లోని జార్జియా లో ఇమోరీ యూనివర్సిటీ కి చెందిన డాక్టర్ జగదీశ్ సేఠ్ ను ప్రతినిధి గా పంపారు.
