At the invitation of Netherlands PM Rob Jetten, PM Modi paid a visit to the Netherlands. During the visit, the PM lauded the Indian diaspora for its contribution to deepening ties between the two countries. He met Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and also held discussions with PM Rob Jetten, elevating India-Netherlands relations to a Strategic Partnership.
