தமிழக முதல் அமைச்சர் செல்வி ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மறைவு குறித்து பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி இரங்கல் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
“செல்வி ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மறைவு குறித்த ஆழ்ந்த கவலையடைந்தேன். அவரது மறைவு இந்திய அரசியலில் பெரிய வெற்றிடத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
நாட்டு மக்களிடம் ஜெயலலிதா அவர்களின் தொடர்பு, ஏழைகள் நல்வாழ்விற்காக அவர் கொண்ட அக்கறை, பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்காக அவர் பாடுபட்டது என்றைக்கு உத்வேகம் ஏற்படுத்தும் ஒன்றாக திகழும்.
இந்த துயரமான தருணத்தில் தமிழக மக்களுடன் எனது எண்ணங்களும் பிரார்த்தனைகளும் உள்ளன.
இந்த ஈடு செய்யமுடியாத பேரிழப்பை துணிவுடனும் மனத் திட்டப்பத்துடனும் தாங்கிக் கொள்ளக் கூடிய வலிமையை எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவன் வழங்கட்டும்.
செல்வி ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதாவுடன் நான் கலந்துரையாட கிடைத்த ஏராளமான தருணங்களை எண்ணி நான் எப்போதும் மனதில் எண்ணுவேன். அவரது ஆன்மா சாந்தியடையட்டும்” என்று பிரதமர் தனது இரங்கல் செய்தியில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
