பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி குஜராத் மாநிலம் ஜம்நகரில் பந்த்ரா- ஜம்நகர் ஹம்சஃபர் விரைவு ரயில் சேவையை இன்று கொடியசைத்துத் துவக்கி வைத்தார். குரு கோபிந்த் சிங் மருத்துவமனையுடன் இணைந்த 750 படுக்கை வசதிகள் கொண்ட புதிய கட்டடத்தை அவர் நாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்ததுடன், பல்வேறு சவ்னி திட்டங்களையும் துவக்கி வைத்தார். ஜம்நகரில் ஆஜி-3-யிலிருந்து, கிஜாடியா வரையிலான 51 கி.மீ நீள எண்ணெய்க் குழாய்ப் பதிப்பு உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு வளர்ச்சித் திட்டங்களையும் அவர் துவக்கி வைத்தார்.
திரளாக கூடியிருந்தவர்களிடையே உரையாற்றிய பிரதமர், குடிநீர் பற்றாக்குறைப் பிரச்சினைக்கு தீர்வு காண குஜராத் அரசு கடந்த 20 ஆண்டு காலமாக அயராது பணியாற்றி வருவதை சுட்டிக்காட்டினார். குஜராத்தில் டேங்கர் ராஜ்யத்தை அனுமதிப்பில்லை என்ற தமது உறுதிப்பாட்டை இந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் குறிப்பிட்ட அவர், குஜராத்தில் சர்தார் சரோவர் அணை மக்களுக்கு எவ்வாறு நிவாரணத்தை அளித்தது என்பதையும் எடுத்துரைத்தார். தற்கால மற்றும் வருங்கால தலைமுறையினருக்கு பயனளிக்கும் வகையில், நாட்டின் குடிமக்கள் அனைவரும் ஒவ்வொரு துளி நீரையும் சேமிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார்.
குஜராத்தில் சுகாதாரத்துறையில் நிகழ்ந்து வரும் புரட்சியைப் பாராட்டிய பிரதமர், இம்மாநிலத்தில் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக உருவாகி வரும் மருத்துவமனைகள், ஏழைகளுக்கு பெரிதும் பயனளிக்கும் வகையில் அமைந்திருப்பதாகக் கூறினார். மத்திய அரசு துவக்கி வைத்துள்ள ஆயுஷ்மான் பாரத் திட்டம் ஏழைகளுக்கு தரமான மற்றும் மலிவான சுகாதாரச் சேவையை உறுதி செய்திருப்பதாகத் தெரிவித்தார்.
நாட்டை எதிர்நோக்கியுள்ள சவால்களில் இருந்து மீண்டு வருவதற்கு அடிப்படைக் கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் நீண்ட கால நடவடிக்கைகள் அவசியம் என்று சுட்டிக்காட்டிய பிரதமர், குறுகிய கால திட்டங்களால் பலன் இல்லை என்றார். இந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் மத்திய அரசு அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ள நீண்டகால திட்டங்களை அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார். பிரமதர் – வேளாண் திட்டம் ஒரு நீண்டகால திட்டம் என்றும் விவசாயிகளின் நலனுக்காகக் கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட ஒட்டுமொத்த மேம்பாட்டுத்திட்டம் என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
சிறு குறு மற்றும் நடுத்தரத் தொழில்துறையை ஊக்குவிக்கும் மத்திய அரசின் முயற்சிகள் குறித்து பேசிய பிரதமர், எளிதாகக் கிடைக்கும் கடன் வசதி மற்றும் மக்களுக்கு சாதகமான சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரி இளைஞர்களுக்கு பெருமளவில் பயனளிக்கும் என்றார். அரசு மேற்கொண்டு வரும் முயற்சிகள் எளிதாக தொழில் தொடங்கும் அம்சங்களை மேம்படுத்த உறுதி செய்துள்ளது என்றும் அவர் கூறினார்.
முப்படையினரின் பணிகளை வெகுவாக புகழ்ந்த பிரதமர், நமது இராணுவ வீரர்களின் சாதனைகளைக் கண்டு நாடே பெருமைப்படுவதாகத் தெரிவித்தார். பயங்கரவாதப் பிரச்சினைகளை முற்றிலுமாக வேரறுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் வலியுறுத்தினார்.
