Share your ideas for the National Youth Festival and how youth can be more involved in the process of nation building. Suggest new ideas for youth empowerment and development and how we can help our youth achieve their full potential, help youngsters achieve their dreams.

National Youth Festival is being celebrated since  1995.   Every year it is celebrated in any one State. This year it is being celebrated at Raipur Chhattisgarh. Every year it commences on 12 January –the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. The theme of this year for the National Festival is  - : “ Indian Youth for Development, Skill and Harmony”. Nearly 10,000 youth from all the States and UTs will take part in the festival.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a firm believer in the power of the youth. He is confident that is India’s youth that will take our nation to new heights of success in the years to come. In order to give wings to the aspirations of the youth the Government has initiated several programmes. This application is a part of the Prime Minister's many efforts to involve the youth in decision making and sought their wise ideas.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the current situation in Iran and shared his perspective on recent developments in the region.

The Prime Minister expressed deep concern about the evolving security situation in the region and reiterated India’s consistent position that all issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

The Prime Minister highlighted India’s priority regarding the safety and well-being of Indian nationals in the region, including in Iran, as also the importance of unhindered transit of energy and goods.

The two leaders agreed to remain in touch.
