PM pays tribute to Rani Rashmoni on her birth anniversary

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid tribute to Rani Rashmoni on her birth anniversary today. Shri Modi hailed her as a towering figure of courage, compassion and conviction.

In a post on X, he said:

“Rani Rashmoni was a towering figure of courage, compassion and conviction. She is fondly remembered as a visionary leader and philanthropist. She built lasting institutions and had unwavering commitment to spirituality as well as for the upliftment of the poor. Tributes to her on her birth anniversary.”

Prime Minister announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The Prime Minister conveyed his thoughts to the bereaved families in this hour of grief and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Shri Modi announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister’s Office said;

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
