The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on the occasion of sacred Parkash Utsav, today. Shri Modi stated that he remains an embodiment of courage, compassion and sacrifice. "His life and teachings inspire us to stand for truth, justice, righteousness and to protect human dignity. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s vision continues to guide generations towards service and selfless duty" Shri Modi said.

ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਜੀ ਪਟਨਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜੋੜਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।"
