On the occasion of Lachit Diwas, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today remembered Lachit Borphukan, describing him as a symbol of courage, patriotism, and true leadership.
Shri Modi stated that Lachit Borphukan’s heroism continues to inspire generations across the nation. He highlighted Lachit Borphukan’s pivotal role in safeguarding the exemplary culture of Assam and upholding the values of unity and resilience.
