Prime Minister prays for the happiness and wellbeing of all citizens

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today visited Chittaranjan Park in Delhi to take part in the Durga Puja celebrations.

Shri Modi said that Chittaranjan Park is widely known for its strong association with Bengali culture. The Prime Minister noted that the celebrations there truly reflect the spirit of unity and cultural vibrancy in our society.

The Prime Minister also offered prayers for the happiness and wellbeing of all citizens.

The Prime Minister also shared highlights from the celebration, stating: Highlights from a very memorable Durga Puja celebration in Delhi! May there be joy and prosperity all around….

The Prime Minister posted on X;

“Today, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami, I went to Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park to take part in the Durga Puja celebrations. Chittaranjan Park is known for its strong association with Bengali culture. The celebrations truly reflect the spirit of unity and cultural vibrancy in our society. Prayed for everyone's happiness and wellbeing.”

“আজ মহা অষ্টমীর পুণ্যদিনে, আমি দিল্লীর চিত্তরঞ্জন পার্কের দুর্গাপুজোয় অংশ নিতে গিয়েছিলাম। চিত্তরঞ্জন পার্ক, বাঙালী সংস্কৃতির সঙ্গে ওতপ্রোতভাবে জড়িত। আমাদের সমাজের ঐক্য ও সাংস্কৃতিক প্রাণময়তার প্রকৃত রূপ ফুটে ওঠে এই অনুষ্ঠানগুলিতে। সকলের সুখ ও কল্যানের জন্যে প্রার্থনা করেছি আমি।”
