The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his happiness for 60% coverage of Tap Water connection in villages' households and said that this is an outstanding achievement and will empower several lives. Shri Modi also said that we are doing everything possible to increase this coverage at an even greater pace in the times to come.

In reply to the tweet by Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Prime Minister tweeted;

"This is an outstanding achievement and will empower several lives. We are doing everything possible to increase this coverage at an even greater pace in the times to come."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi met representatives of Janjati Suraksha Manch in New Delhi today.

The Prime Minister appreciated their dedication towards the tribal society.

During the interaction, discussions were held on various issues related to the development and empowerment of tribal communities.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“नई दिल्ली में आज जनजाति सुरक्षा मंच के प्रतिनिधियों से मुलाकात का अवसर मिला। आदिवासी समाज के लिए इनका समर्पण भाव बहुत सराहनीय है। इस दौरान जनजातीय समुदायों के विकास और उनके सशक्तिकरण से जुड़े विभिन्न विषयों पर सार्थक चर्चा हुई।”
