Announces ex-gratia from PMNRF for the victims

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to a road accident in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Shri Modi has announced an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims.

The Prime Minister Office tweeted;

“उत्तर प्रदेश के फतेहपुर में हुआ सड़क हादसा अत्यंत दुखद है। इसमें जिन्होंने अपने परिजनों को खोया है, उनके प्रति मेरी गहरी संवेदनाएं। इसके साथ ही मैं घायलों के जल्द स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूं। राज्य सरकार की निगरानी में स्थानीय प्रशासन पीड़ितों की पूरी मदद में जुटा है: PM Modi”

“PM @narendramodi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh for the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives in the accident in Fatehpur. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 each.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from the Vice President of the United States, Mr. J.D. Vance.

Prime Minister and Vice President Vance reviewed progress in the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. They noted the sustained momentum in the high-level engagements and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in trade, defence, critical and emerging technologies, energy security and critical minerals.

They also exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.

Prime Minister warmly congratulated Vice President Vance and Ms. Usha Vance on the birth of their son and conveyed best wishes to the family.
