PM interacts with Table Tennis Medal winners of Commonwealth Games- 2018

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today interacted with the Commonwealth Games 2018 medal winners in Table Tennis. The sportspersons had called on the Prime Minister at Parliament House, New Delhi.

The Prime Minister congratulated the medal winners for their exemplary performance in the international arena. He added that their performance have made the entire nation proud.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the rise of sporting talents from the small towns in India and emphasized the need for continuously nurturing them.
Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, were present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will release the autobiography of former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, titled “Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles”, on 12 August, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The release of the autobiography by the Prime Minister will mark a significant occasion celebrating the life and contributions of one of India’s most distinguished public figures. The autobiography offers a deeply personal account of Shri Ram Nath Kovind’s remarkable life journey, tracing his experiences, struggles and achievements from his early years to his distinguished public life and eventual service as the 14th President of India.
