In his reply to the motion of thanks on President's address in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that progress in housing and railways had been unprecedented during the last three years of NDA Government. The PM mentioned that under UPA, only 10 ,83,000 houses were constructed while under the NDA Government the number of houses constructed were 22, 27, 000. Shri Modi also expounded on expansion of broad gauge in railway network and stated that it had almost doubled since NDA Government came to power.
