Shri Narendra Modi crosses 500,000 followers on Twitter!

 In November 2011 he had crossed 400,000 followers.

 Shri Modi is an avid user of social media, even updating his blog with views.

Shri Narendra Modi’s list of followers on Twitter crossed the figure of 500,000 earlier today. Tweeting since 10th January 2009 Shri Narendra Modi has used Twitter to share his thoughts on issues and share updates about the Gujarat Government. Shri Modi has drawn 100,00 followers in less than four months. Last, he crossed 400,000 followers November 2011.

Shri Modi is an avid user of social media. Apart from Twitter he is also a regular blogger. He remains a firm believer in modern technology and has even brought technology to the forefront in the daily working of the Gujarat Government.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation today with the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah.

The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving security situation in West Asia.

Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions and reaffirmed India’s strong condemnation of attacks on Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Prime Minister reiterated the call for de-escalation, dialogue and diplomacy for earliest restoration of peace and stability.

Prime Minister thanked His Highness the Amir for his personal attention to the continued well-being and the safety of the large Indian community in Kuwait.
