The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will be visiting West Bengal and Odisha tomorrow to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister's office said "Tomorrow, PM @narendramodi will travel to West Bengal and Odisha to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan. He will conduct aerial surveys and take part in review meetings, where aspects of relief and rehabilitation will be discussed."

Prime Minister pays homage to brave participants of the Quit India Movement

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has remembered all those who participated in the historic Quit India Movement and paid tribute to their courage and determination in India’s freedom struggle. Shri Modi said that inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, the clarion call of the Quit India Movement infused new energy into the freedom struggle and reflected the unwavering resolve of the people of India to break free from colonial rule.
