People of Kolhapur accorded PM Modi a fabulous welcome as he addressed a political rally in Maharashtra ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, in 2024. Citing the popularity of football in Kolhapur, PM Modi said, “The I.N.D.I alliance have inflicted two self-goals owing to their politics of hate & anti-India tendencies.” PM Modi said that in the recently concluded two phases of polling the message is clear ‘Fir ek Baar Modi Sarkar.’

Stating how the election of 2024 is pivotal for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ PM Modi said, “The 2024 elections are to enhance the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’.” He added that since the I.N.D.I alliance is unable to match the track record of the NDA, they are simply indulging in the politics of appeasement. He said that it is owing to the appeasement politics that they oppose decisions like the abrogation of Article 370 and the implementation of CAA. He added, “Parties & alliances subscribing to the ‘One Year-One PM formula can never form governments.”

Taking a sharp dig at the divisive agenda of the I.N.D.I alliance, PM Modi said, “The I.N.D.I alliance aims to sharpen and divide India into ‘North & South’.” He added that will the people from the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ever entertain the divisive tendencies of the I.N.D.I alliance. He added that the I.N.D.I alliance even boycotted the ‘Pran-Pratishtha of Shri Ram after 500 years. “DMK has equated ‘Sanatana’ with ‘Dengue & Malaria’,” PM Modi said. He added the “I.N.D.I alliance is so deep in appeasement politics that they celebrate Aurangzeb in the land of the great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”

Speaking on how the I.N.D.I alliance aims to facilitate systemic loot, PM Modi said, “The Shehzada of Congress aims to impose an ‘Inheritance Tax’ to loot the people of India.” He added that they aim to conduct a comprehensive investigation of a caste-based survey of resources. He said that the I.N.D.I alliance aims to loot the people of India to fill their coffers.

Hailing Maharashtra as the land of stalwarts like Babasaheb Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule, and Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, PM Modi said, “Maharashtra is the land of imparting true social justice.” He added that the I.N.D.I alliance is completely against the ideal of social justice. He said, “Owing to appeasement politics the I.N.D.I alliance aims to give reservations to minorities at the cost of SC-ST-OBCs.” He added that the I.N.D.I alliance only aims at disregarding the constitution and granting religion-based reservations.

Highlighting the main agenda of the I.N.D.I alliance, PM Modi said, “I.N.D.I alliance has only one agenda, ‘Form the government & fill coffers by looting the people of India.” He added that the NDA on the other hand has improved prospects and opportunities through initiatives like ‘Startup India.’ He said that today India is the 3rd largest startup ecosystem and the 2nd largest mobile manufacturer owing to progressive policies undertaken by the NDA. He added that the youth who were disempowered by previous governments are today guiding India in becoming the 3rd largest economy in the world.

Emphasizing women-led development, PM Modi said, “Our government has prioritized the empowerment of Nari Shakti.” He said, “We have enabled 10 crore women as a part of SHGs & envisage to create 3 crore Lakhpati Didis.” He said, “India’s Nari Shakti is my ‘Suraksha Kavach’ & the ‘Shehzada of Congress’ aims to destroy this, Shakti.”

In conclusion, PM Modi said that the NDA government is committed to strengthening the ‘Ambaji Shaktipeeth’ through robust infrastructural prospects and added that the 2024 elections are very important to determine the future course of Maharashtra. He thanked the people of Kolhapur and expressed his confidence that every single vote will be for the NDA to strengthen the resolve of a ‘Viksit Maharashtra’ for a ‘Viksit Bharat.’

PM Modi’s Haldia rally builds massive momentum ahead of West Bengal polls
April 09, 2026
A double engine government will make Bengal self-reliant in fisheries and food production: PM Modi in Haldia
TMC has run a syndicate-driven system, where nothing moves without cut money and commissions. But factories run on trust, not on syndicates: PM
TMC is focused on giving reservations on the basis of religion to please its vote bank, says PM Modi in Haldia rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a high-energy address in Haldia, galvanising BJP supporters and setting the tone for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. Addressing a massive gathering, PM Modi invoked the spirit of past political transformation and projected a similar wave sweeping across the state.

Recalling the political shift led by Nandigram and Medinipur five years ago, PM Modi said, “Medinipur and Nandigram showed the path of change five years ago. Now, the entire West Bengal has embarked on that very path of transformation.” He added, “What Nandigram achieved then, Bhawanipur will witness this time and the same change will echo across Bengal.”

The rally resonated with energetic slogans as the PM urged the crowd to join in, saying, ‘Paltano dorkar… Chai BJP Sarkar!’ The overarching theme of his address focused on restoring Bengal’s pride and setting it back on a path of growth and prosperity. PM Modi remarked, “This is not an ordinary election. It is about restoring Bengal’s glory, strengthening the foundation of a developed Bengal and taking the first decisive step by bidding farewell to a ruthless government.”

The Prime Minister contrasted India’s rapid economic progress with what he described as Bengal’s decline under the current state government. He said, “India is progressing at a fast pace, but the TMC government has pushed Bengal backwards on key development parameters.” He pointed to the industrial decline of Haldia and the migration of youth as indicators of governance failure.

On employment and youth issues, PM Modi accused the TMC government of betrayal. “The youth of Bengal have been doubly betrayed, there are no private jobs and even government recruitments have been looted,” he said. Emphasising reform, he assured that a BJP government would ensure transparent, time-bound recruitment and organise employment drives.

Addressing economic potential, particularly in fisheries, PM Modi highlighted missed opportunities. “Despite immense potential, Bengal is not self-reliant in fish production. In contrast, states governed by BJP or NDA have doubled production and are now exporting,” he noted, adding that a double-engine government would unlock Bengal’s blue economy.

He also criticised the state government for not effectively implementing central welfare schemes. “Because these schemes carry the ‘PM’ tag, they are either renamed or not implemented, hurting the poor and the elderly,” he said

Focusing on women’s safety, PM Modi expressed concern over rising crimes. “In Bengal today, daughters are not safe be it on the streets, in schools or workplaces. This is due to the protection given to criminals,” he asserted, while assuring that a BJP government would guarantee safety and dignity.

Outlining his vision, the Prime Minister presented “Modi’s Six Guarantees” for Bengal, promising governance based on trust, accountability, strict action against corruption, justice for victims, protection of constitutional rights and implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission for government employees.

Concluding his address, PM Modi called for decisive voter participation. “On 23rd April, every vote will shape Bengal’s future. Press the lotus button at every booth and ensure a government that delivers development, dignity and security,” he urged.
