PM Narendra Modi welcomes leaders, delegates for FIPIC Summit, looks forward to strengthening India's ties with Pacific island nations

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has welcomed all the leaders and delegates, arriving India for the FIPIC Summit.

"I welcome all the leaders and delegates who are coming to India for the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation.

I am very optimistic about FIPIC Summit. Am sure it will strengthen India's bond with the Pacific island nations", the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister pays homage to brave participants of the Quit India Movement

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has remembered all those who participated in the historic Quit India Movement and paid tribute to their courage and determination in India’s freedom struggle. Shri Modi said that inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, the clarion call of the Quit India Movement infused new energy into the freedom struggle and reflected the unwavering resolve of the people of India to break free from colonial rule.
