The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has saluted the courage and valour of the Indian Army personnel on the occasion of Army Day.

“भारत की सेना मां भारती की आन-बान और शान है। सेना दिवस के अवसर पर मैं देश के सभी सैनिकों के अदम्य साहस, शौर्य और पराक्रम को सलाम करता हूं।

Our Army is known for its valour and professionalism. It is also respected for its humanitarian spirit. Whenever people have needed help, our Army has risen to the occasion and done everything possible! Proud of our Army”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister congratulates Dilip Mahadu Gavit on winning Gold in Men’s 100m T47 at Commonwealth Games 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Dilip Mahadu Gavit on winning the Gold medal in the Men’s 100m T47 event at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

The Prime Minister noted that Dilip Mahadu Gavit set a new Commonwealth Games record and achieved his season best with a remarkable timing.

Shri Modi said that his speed, determination and dedication have made the nation proud and wished him the very best for his future endeavours.
