PM Modi meets several leaders on sidelines of COP21 in Paris

PM Narendra Modi today met several leaders on the sidelines of COP21 in Paris, France. PM Modi met French President François Hollande, PM Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan, President Maithripala Sirisena of Sri Lanka, President Jacob Zuma of South Africa and Bolivian President Evo Morales.

Shri Modi also met Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, President of the United States Barack Obama and President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.

Prime Minister pays homage to Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary, today. Shri Modi stated that Bapu always laid strong emphasis on Swadeshi, which is also a fundamental pillar of our resolve for a developed and self-reliant India. "His personality and deeds will forever continue to inspire the people of the country to walk the path of duty", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
