PM remembers sacrifices and valour of our Armed Forces, who courageously fought in 1971 war, on the occasion of Vijay Diwas

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has paid tributes to the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Bharat Ratna Dr. M.G. Ramachandran (MGR), on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

In a statement, the Prime Minister lauded MGR's multifaceted legacy, highlighting his monumental role in the socio-economic development of Tamil Nadu and his efforts in taking Tamil culture to the global stage.
