PM Narendra Modi today inaugurated Shree Jogi Swami SGVP Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Addressing a gathering at the vent, Shri Modi remarked, “The three areas of Yoga, Ayurveda and Allopathy have been merged in this hospital, which is a commendable initiative.”

 

“Yoga is a way to Rog Mukti and Bhog Mukti”, he added furthermore.

The Prime Minister said that lack of healthcare facilities affected the poor adversely. In this context, he stated, “We want to make healthcare and treatment facilities affordable and that is why we made stents cheaper.” He said it was the government’s priority to improve health infrastructure and boost innovation in the sector.

 

Adding further, he stated, “When we would say serving Daridra Narayan, Jogi Ji Maharaj would add, that we should serve Dardi Narayan. Serving those who are not healthy is a great service to humanity… I was surprised to see a man of associated with spirituality release a Diktat saying remove the nationalist forces from power. It is Rashtra Bhakti that transcends all barriers and it is what guides us to help every Indian, in every part of India and the world.”

 

PM Modi also lauded the role of EAM Sushma Swaraj. He said that guided by humanitarian values, she was serving people in need.

Visit of HSH Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Principality of Liechtenstein to India

At the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, HSH Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Principality of Liechtenstein paid a visit to India to participate in the AI Impact Summit, 2026 being held at New Delhi.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met with HSH Prince Alois on 20 February 2026 on the sidelines of the Summit. The two leaders reaffirmed that India and Liechtenstein enjoy cordial and friendly bilateral relations.

Welcoming the entry into force of the India–TEPA Free Trade Agreement in October 2025, the leaders expressed confidence that the agreement would provide fresh impetus to bilateral economic engagement. Both leaders noted that the TEPA will facilitate US$100 billion of investment into India over next 15 years. They agreed to deepen cooperation, particularly in high-value manufacturing, advanced technologies, and innovation-driven sectors.

The meeting marked an important step toward further strengthening the India–Liechtenstein partnership, and reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to expanding mutually beneficial collaboration.
