Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has conveyed his greetings to the UN on United Nations Day.

“Greetings on UN Day. We appreciate UN’s efforts in promoting world peace and laud the wide range of initiatives under its guidance”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the qualities of an ideal and truly excellent individual in fulfilling personal, social, and national duties.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;


"परकार्येषु युक्तात्मा स्वकार्ये क्षिप्रसाधनम्।

सुहृत्कार्येषु निर्वृत्ती राजकार्येषु विक्रमः ।। "

The person who devotes themselves wholeheartedly to the tasks of others, completes their own personal duties with speed and efficiency, carries out tasks for friends selflessly, and demonstrates their full valor and courage in fulfilling national duties, only such a person is truly excellent.
