In a tweet, the Prime Minister said "Congratulations to @KamalaHarris on being sworn-in as @VP. It is a historic occasion. Looking forward to interacting with her to make India-USA relations more robust. The India-USA partnership is beneficial for our planet."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam:

“विज्ञानसारथिर्यस्तु मनःप्रग्रहवान्नरः।

सोऽध्वनः पारमाप्नोति तद्विष्णोः परमं पदम्॥"

The Subhashitam emphasizes that the person whose discerning intellect act as a vigilant, scientific charioteer, and whose mind is disciplined and controlled, navigates beyond the complexities of life’s path to reach the ultimate goal.

Shri Modi also remarked that the success of 11 years of Digital India has given India a new identity worldwide. This reveals the resolve of the countrymen to take the nation to new heights by embracing innovation and technology.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

डिजिटल इंडिया के 11 वर्षों की सफलता से भारतवर्ष को दुनियाभर में एक नई पहचान मिली है। इससे इनोवेशन और टेक्नोलॉजी को अपनाकर देश को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाने की देशवासियों की संकल्पशक्ति का पता चलता है।
