"Narendra Modi launches video film on ‘Statue of Unity’ Project to commemorate Sardar Patel "
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today launched a video film on the ‘Statue of Unity’ Project, being built near the SSP dam on the Narmada, to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The video film has been made for the large screen through 3D Mapping Technology for screening at different places across India. The launch was held under the aegis of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust at a largely attended function at the Gujarat University Ground.
Mr. Modi sat through the function along with other dignitaries to view the film. They included Gujarat Assembly Speaker Vajubhai Vala, Cabinet Ministers Nitin Patel, Anandiben Patel, Ramanlal Vora, Ganpatsinh Vasava, besides Ministers of State, BJP State President R.C. Faldu, party whip Pankaj Desai, Ahmedabad Mayor Meenakshi Patel and Gujarat University’s acting Vice-Chancellor Mukul Shah.
