Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha in reply to the motion of thanks on President's address on Tuesday. During his address the Prime Minister said that history cannot inspire the society if it is trapped in books. In every age, there should an effort to live the history. "When Congress was not even born during the freedom struggle of 1857, people were giving their lives for the nation. Kamal Tab Bhi Tha Aur Aaj Bhi Hai," he said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Abelardo de la Espriella on his victory in the Colombian presidential elections.

The Prime Minister noted that India deeply values its close friendship with Colombia which continues to grow in all areas. “I convey my best wishes for a successful tenure and look forward to working together to further deepen our bilateral relations in the years ahead”, Shri Modi added.

Shri Modi posted on X;

Heartiest congratulations, Abelardo de la Espriella, on your victory in the Colombian presidential elections.
