Kolkata erupts in joy during PM Modi’s MEGA roadshow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a grand roadshow in Kolkata, West Bengal. As his convoy passed through the streets of Kolkata, people lined up, cheering and greeting him, reflecting massive support for BJP in Phase 2 of the West Bengal Assembly elections.

Boosted by PM Modi’s energetic campaign across West Bengal and the massive voter turnout in Phase 1, people of West Bengal turned out in large numbers to welcome him during his roadshow.

The event sparked widespread enthusiasm, with the overwhelming response in Kolkata becoming a major talking point across the country.

Prime Minister announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The Prime Minister conveyed his thoughts to the bereaved families in this hour of grief and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Shri Modi announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister’s Office said;

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
