Inauguration of Gujarati Samaj auditorium at Udaipur

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi asked the Gujaratis settled in different states in the country and abroad to arrange schools excursions on ‘Gujarat Darshan’, at least once every year.

Inaugurating the newly constructed auditorium of the Gujarati Samaj at Uadipur in Rajasthan on Tuesday night, he said that Gujarat is progressing at an unbelievably fast pace and one must visit the state for oneself to believe. They could come on family visits, too, especially during the state’s golden jubilee celebration year.

Shri Modi said that Gujaratis settled in different parts of the country and abroad have earned a name for themselves due to their capacity, enterprise and prosperity. There is need for particularly the new generation to keep in touch with their roots, the language and culture and get acquainted with all round development of the state. He said that Gujarat also offers a wide range of tourism experience like moonlight night safari in the snow-white Rann of Kutch.

He said that attaining 9.6 per cent growth rate in agriculture, Dahej SEZ winning award as the world’s top 25 free economic zones for future, BRTS winning global award for public transport system were no small achievements. Gujarat’s water conservation schemes, women’s empowerment, evening courts, Jyoti Gram, e-Gram, Good Governance were also unique schemes, so also the first-of-its-kind universities for Petroleum Energy, Defence & Security and one exclusively for Children.

The Chief Minister announced setting up a Gujarati school at Udaipur on the occasion. Earlier, Udaipur’s Gujarati Samaj President Jaimin Patel attributed the Gujarat’s success to the leadership qualities of Shri Modi.

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on 15th April 2026. At around 11 AM, Prime Minister will inaugurate the Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira at Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri in Mandya district. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

During the visit, Prime Minister will also jointly release the book titled “Saundarya Lahari and Shiva Mahimna Stotram” along with former Prime Minister Shri H. D. Deve Gowda ji.

Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira is a memorial dedicated to the revered seer, Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the 71st Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. Constructed in the traditional Dravidian architectural style, the Mandira stands as a tribute to the life and legacy of the late seer. The Mandira is envisioned not only as a place of reverence but also as a source of inspiration for future generations.
