The Prime Minister said that there is wonderful inspiration in the messages of Lord Mahavira, based on truth, harmony, good conduct, and equality. “His great thoughts will forever remain the guiding path for humanity”, Shri Modi stated.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-
“श्रूयतां धर्मसर्वस्वं श्रुत्वा चैवावधार्यताम्।
आत्मनः प्रतिकूलानि परेषां न समाचरेत्॥”
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
“सत्य, सद्भाव, सद्व्यवहार और समानता पर आधारित भगवान महावीर के संदेशों में अद्भुत प्रेरणा है। उनके महान विचार सदैव मानवता के पथ-प्रदर्शक बने रहेंगे।
श्रूयतां धर्मसर्वस्वं श्रुत्वा चैवावधार्यताम्।
आत्मनः प्रतिकूलानि परेषां न समाचरेत्॥”
