PM Narendra Modi addressed three public rallies in Sitamarhi, Bettiah and Motihari districts of Bihar. He attacked the JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance and termed it ‘Mahaswarthbandhan.’ He said that the ‘Mahaswarthbandhan’ has lost faith in people and has turned towards ‘Mantra-Tantra.’ “People of Bihar need to decide that they want mantra-tantra or loktantra. We cannot take Bihar back to 18th century instead of progressing ahead”, added PM Modi.

Attacking the ‘Mahaswarthbandhan’, PM Modi said that they ruled Bihar for sixty years but did not contribute to the development of the state. The Prime Minister alleged that the grand alliance’s main aim was extracting political gains rather than thinking about the betterment of the people in the state. PM Narendra Modi held them responsible for misleading the people of Bihar and forcing the youth of the state to leave their families and look for jobs outside. The PM stated that the grand alliance ruined the aspirations of the people of Bihar.

Shri Modi said, “Congress keeps putting obstacles in the path of nation’s progress and development. Their leaders are always silent when asked about this.” The Prime Minister also noted that Congress party and its allies were obstructing reservation of women and Sonia Gandhi has been silent on the issue.

PM Modi emphasized on development and said that development would free Bihar from all the problems the state has been facing. PM Modi also shared NDA’s vision for Bihar is to get electricity, water and roads for people, medicine for the elderly, education and job opportunities for the youth. PM Narendra Modi strongly mentioned that NDA was committed and wanted to eradicate corruption from Bihar.

PM Narendra Modi urged the voters in Bihar to turn out in large numbers to cast their votes for a BJP led NDA Government that would take the state to newer heights in the coming years.
