ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ-ଇଣ୍ଡୋସାନକୁ ଉଦ୍ଘାଟନ ସହ ସମ୍ବୋଧନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋଦୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେତେବେଳେ କେହି ଅଳିଆ ଅବା ଆବର୍ଜନାମୟ ପରିବେଶକୁ ପସନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ । ତେଣୁ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାର ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ବିକଶିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରୟାସ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ।
ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ପ୍ରତି ସଚେତନତା ବଢ଼ୁଛି । ଏଥିରୁ ଏହା ଜଣାପଡୁଛି ଯେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ଅଭିଯାନ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସକରାତ୍ମକ ଭାବେ ପସନ୍ଦ ଆସିଛି । ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ସହର ଓ ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ବିକଶିତ ହେଉଛି ।
ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ସକରାତ୍ମକ ଭୂମିକାକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ଯଦି ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ କେହି ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରୁଛି, ତା’ହେଲେ ସିଏ ହେଉଛି ମିଡିଆ ।
କେବଳ ବଜେଟ୍ ଆବଂଟନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ହୋଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହା ଏକ ଜନ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ହେବା ଉଚିତ୍ ।
ବ୍ରିଟିଶ ଶାସନରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧିଙ୍କ ସତ୍ୟାଗ୍ରହକୁ ମନେ ପକାଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏବେ ଭାରତକୁ ଅଳିଆ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛାଗ୍ରହର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଛି ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ପୁନଃ ଉପଯୋଗ ଓ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକରଣର ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ଆମର ବହୁ ପୁରୁଣା । ଏସବୁ ଅଭ୍ୟାସକୁ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା ଆଧାରିତ କରାଯିବାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଛି ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୁରସ୍କାର ବିଜେତାଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ । ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ ପୁରସ୍କାର ବିଜେତାଙ୍କୁ ଜନଭାଗିଦାରୀ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସଫଳ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଭାବେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିଥିଲେ ।
