ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦି ଆଜି ରାଜ୍ୟଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା- 2018 ର ଟେବୁଲ ଟେନିସ୍ ପଦକ ବିଜେତାଙ୍କ ସହ ଭାବ ବିନିମୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାବିତମାନେ ଆଜି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ  ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀର ସଂସଦ ଭବନ ଠାରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିଥିଲେ ।

ପଦକ ବିଜେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଲେ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ କ୍ରୀଡା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ଭାରତକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ତରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇଛି । ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ସମଗ୍ର ଦେଶ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଗୌରବ ଅନୁଭବ କରେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ।

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଲେ ଯେ ଦେଶରେ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ପ୍ରତିଭାମାନେ ଛୋଟ ଛୋଟ ଟାଉନରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି । ଏକଥା ସଭିଏଁ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବେ । ତେଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରାଯାଇ ସେମାନେ କିଭଳି ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ଗୁଣାତ୍ମକ ତାଲିମ ପାଇପାରିବେ ତାହା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ ।

ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିୟମ୍ ଓ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବାଷ୍ପ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଏବଂ ଯୁବ ବ୍ୟାପାର ଓ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏବଂ ସୂଚନା ଓ ପ୍ରସାରଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ (ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ)  କର୍ଣ୍ଣେଲ ରାଜ୍ୟବର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ସିଂହ ରାଠୋର ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ।

Prime Minister congratulates Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and Prosperity Party on electoral victory

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and the Prosperity Party on their decisive victory in the Ethiopian parliamentary elections.

The Prime Minister noted that India deeply cherishes its historic, multifaceted and deep-rooted ties with Ethiopia. Recalling his visit to Ethiopia last year, he expressed his desire to work closely with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali to further strengthen the India-Ethiopia Strategic Partnership and the bonds of friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

Shri Modi posted on X;

Heartiest congratulations to my friend, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and the Prosperity Party for a decisive victory in the Ethiopian parliamentary elections.

India greatly cherishes its historic, multifaceted and deep-rooted ties with Ethiopia. I fondly recall my visit to Ethiopia last year and look forward to working closely together to further strengthen our Strategic Partnership and the bonds of friendship between our peoples.
